Why this moved

This page was status: draft, lastVerified: 2026-03-11 with a 50-line embedded JSX comment block discussing GitHub Gists vs repo-native templates, plus snippet counts that drifted from reality (17/25/115 documented; 23/25/113 live). The contributor-tools feature page (status: current, lastVerified: 2026-05-14) is the better canonical home – the VS Code snippet inventory now lives there with verified live counts and the generator command.
